Just did a clean install of V6, what an impressive product it now is!

Did try and upgrade but that failed, and I assume though lack of Wheezy version? That will teach me not to read everything on the page.

Quick question? Is it still possible to move the DB over to V6 and have it upgrade? as previous versions? Any caveats?

Happy New Year.

Paul.

Well ever the one to try anything. I ran up a VM with it on, copied a version 5 db over, and ran the script to upgrade it. Bingo! Seems to be working.
Was it intentional to remove the upload from the backup page?

Upgrade is the same as before.  Move, or restore,  the DB and run sh /opt/sark/scripts/srkV4reloader.sh

Upload for backups has just gone in, along with a bunch of minor fixes. Not published yet but it will be -30(ish).

Thanks for the compliment on the software. We're still in beta with it so it's a bit of a work in progress.  Have you tried it on a tablet or smart phone yet?   It runs well on those too.

There will also be a release for Ubuntu 18 (cosmic) probably later this week so you can run it there too.

Hi

Tell me more? Tablet & Smartphone?

Funnily enough I still use Ubuntu, but as you tended to lean towards the hairy chested Debian, I pretty much have followed suit. Hopefully after the nightmare of Christmas, I will have some more spare time to try it in anger.

The front V6 end was built to be responsive and adaptive.   It runs nicely on tablets and smartphones and optimises itself for the available screen real estate.
