Up a level

Introduction

Sometimes it is useful to "twin" phones, for example your mobile and your deskphone or your deskphone and your home phone, or all three. SARK/SAIL can twin as many, or as few endpoints as you wish.

set-up

First, set up a regular ring group and include the phone numbers and/or extension numbers you wish to twin. You can set the group as ring or hunt. Set the outcome to wherever you want, usually this will be to the voice mailbox for your deskphone.

activate/deactivate

Let's say you've named the ring group as 4021

At your deskphone do

*21*4021

This will turn the feature on.

To turn it off; at the deskphone do

*21*

Once it is activated (on), calls to your deskphone will ring all of the phones in the group.
